One of my favorite authors just released a new book in time for Valentines Day! Plant a Kiss by Amy Krouse Rosenthal is as adorable as you could hope for.
A little girl plants a kiss in the ground and when it sprouts into a fountain of sparkliness, she sets off to share the love around. The text is simple but clever and full of rhymes that skip off the tongue. The illustrations add just enough to the story without stealing the show. So happy to have another Rosenthal book to fall in love with! If you'd like to check it out virtually, view the unofficial trailer.
We planted our own "kiss" today. Found this tiny pot with mixing soil and seeds at Target for $.50. This Spring we'll reap a crop of flowers to share with someone we love.
It's on my list now. :)
