I'm still alive!

I can't believe it's been so long since I have posted anything, but we've been having way too much fun!

E graduated from kindergarten. (That's her on the end... aren't her new glasses adorable?)

We went camping as a family. (My very first time!)

Enjoyed a morning in Thomas Jefferson's Home.

Spent some time driving around a safari park!

(It took some time to convince A that the animals didn't want to eat her.)

Went to see the amazing Natural Bridge.

And of course stopped to check out Foam-Henge!

Our days have also been full of visiting family, trying to whip our poor yard into shape, and decorating our new home. But I'm excited about the rest of the summer and even more excited to share with you all the great books we've been reading and fun crafts and activities to go along with them!

  1. Looks like you're having fun. That's pretty much how our summer has been. I haven't posted hardly anything because we've been so busy having fun as a family...especially since my husband is a school teacher and is now off. That picture of A is adorable...even if she was upset.

  7. Ok, so as a fellow Virginian, I know where the Natural Bridge is...Monticello...but where the heck is Foam-Henge??? That is funny...

  8. lol - We only recently heard of it in some random Stone Henge documentary I was watching. They mentioned the full-sized replica made out of stone in Natural Bridge, VA. My husband and I practically jumped out of our seats and swore we'd have to visit it some day. :) It's actually on the road to Natural Bridge, just down from the Safari Park. There's a little sign and it's up on a hill. You can just walk up and visit it! Totally random and fun. :)
